Practicing Meditation
Divine Comfort is what I need at this time. I listen to this while I practice self Reiki as I have a medical problem which has not yet been resolved. I am waiting further tests which could take some time with the NHS being as it is! Healing hands are mentioned in the meditation that is why I decided to combine the two. Very effective. When you practice meditation, you are giving to yourself.
You are allowing the Love within to touch you.
You touch each other, you give to Love and Love gives to you.
You are allowing the Love within to touch you.

If you close your eyes in meditation and you say,
“I want to have contact with the Divine”.
“I want to have this question answered”.
“I want to have certainty about this issue”.
“I want to have a grand spiritual experience”.
Always I want, I want.
And if you don’t receive what you want you become disappointed, and then you may say “Well, maybe if I give up all my wants, I will get what I want”.
“I want to have contact with the Divine”.

Meditation is about relationship
It is the relationship that matters, the intimacy that matters. This is what allows you to receive the answers, the knowledge and the wisdom.
But it is not enough to meditate all day, every day and expect to find your purpose or all the answers. You have to take the action given to you while you are communicating with Love. You have not come here to live your life motionless and dormant. You have not come here to retire from life, to be in isolation or to live a life of quiet meditation. |
You have come to serve a world whose needs are immense and pressing.
To support those around you in the best way you can with this Love you have inside you uppermost. Your spiritual practice is about bringing your mind and all your beliefs that have been shaped and created by your experiences in the world, into contact with the power and the presence of the Love within. |
Meditation can help you return to stillness
Because your mind is quiet, you are not trying to make sense of situations, trying to find answers or explanations, then the Love within can give you a truer, clear picture of how things really are.
It is amazing what ten or fifteen minutes a day of connecting with Love can do for your life. Just a few minutes a day can help you to relieve stress, allowing your insights to catch up with you, responding to deeper things within yourself. |
When you practice daily with kindness and patience with yourself, not expecting miracles, but expanding your awareness, you increase your intention, your connection to Love and your confidence.
The benefit of this beautiful state of quiet is immeasurable. It is not about having things or by being driven by the fear of not having. |

Floating in Love
Here you are just floating in Love, free from the frustration, stress and the turbulence of life.
You go deeper in the ocean of Love where peace is all around you, you are living in a moment of stillness. As you become more aligned with this state, of the bliss of Love, you are able to achieve it more frequently. Then you understand there is an expansiveness and a deeper wisdom within you, and what you thought was emptiness is actually the power of your spiritual heart and your connection to the Divine Heart of the Beloved. |
The Benefits of Meditation
Among the many benefits of meditation is the ability to be able to increase your self-acceptance, self-esteem and self-confidence.
Meditation is about expanding your awareness by going within. Meditation can take you to this quiet soft place within you where there is a field of peace, calm and Love. The Seraphim call this the place of stillness. Love can create positive, gentle changes in your life, because the more you allow Love into your life, the more Love you receive. When you can find Love for yourself you are more open to possibilities and opportunities.
